Knowing

Knowing is a 2009 film starring Nicholas Cage and... some other creepy looking actors. Knowing is the scariest disaster movie I've ever seen! The end really shocked me to the extent that I'm very light headed right now! The whole story kinda made sense it was a little confusing but it all made sense at the end. I felt it was scientifically correct too in the facts of how the Earth will end in a... oh yeah, I dont want to give away the ending! However all in all it was one creepy movie that I would advise for people who easily freak out to the smallest stuff not to see this one! I will give this one a 3 out of 5, its okay but it really didn't impress me too much, the only thing it suceeded in is that it scared a lot about what may happen in 2012.

Avatar 3D

Avatar is 2009 film directed and produced by James Cameron and stars actors that if I named them you still wouldn't have known who they were! This movie was one that I barely was exciting for until I heard about how much it costs... an est. of $500,000,000! That factor broke the record for highest movie budget, beating Pirates of the Carribbean: At World's end at $350,000,000. I have to admit all that money was worth it because it was a awesome movie! THough the movie showed favor towards eviromental protection and peace while showing disfavor towards guns and economics, it still proved to be a great movie with a great use of animation and robotics. The animation was great making each individual NA'VI tribe member and all of the creatures in the movies along with a beautiful setting of a planet called Pandora which i wish was actually real after watching this movie. Now robotics you may think those human controlled mega-sized robots in the movie were animation but they were actually real! No wonder they spent so much on this movie! All in all I have to say this was a 5 out of 5, yeah it is an amazing movie with perfect special effects and acting. Plus I saw it in 3D, that was cool too!

Star Trek

Star Trek is a 2009 film starring Simon Pegg, and some other actors who are not as great as Simon Pegg. The movie was great, personally a great must see for any Trekkie (Star Trek nerds). Just everything was great about this movie from the storyline to the special effects and eventually the acting. I thought it was a great movie idea to have the story of Captain Kirk, Spock, Scotty and everyone else's lives before and until they became who they were on the U.S.S. Enterprise. The acting was great, including Simon Pegg who played a realistic Scotty. I mean his Scotish accent down perfectly, I had my friend ask me later after me and him watched the the movie if Simon Pegg was Scottish but I actually surprised him when reveiling that he's actually British! Now thats good acting, even the original Scotty didnt have a realistic accent! Overall I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5, it was great but it didnt impress me to the highest extent.
