Year One

Year One is a 2009 film that stars Jack Black and Michael Cera. This is actually one of the worst movies I've ever seen! The funny scenes in the trailer are the only funny scenes in the whole movie! The acting wasn't bad, nothing production wise was bad but the whole plot was horrible and unfunny. Yes the movie as I've stated has funny moments and lines but they're only the stuff you would simply have a good chuckle, no gut-busting, roll-around the floor laughing. Just please don't bother watching Year One, you will waste your money (if you rented or bought it) and your time. The only reason why this movie even made a dime was because Jack Black and Michael Cera were in it, that's it. Overall with it being unfunny and poorly written, I will have to give this one a .5 out of 5.

Land of the Lost

Land of the Lost is a 2009 film based of the tv show of the same name featuring Will Ferell. Land of the Lost was a hilarious movie, though I've never heard of any of the actors besides Will Ferell they still did a great jobs in there roles. It was funny though many critics criticized it and I'm not sure why, maybe lack of characters, I don't know. The movie proved to be hilarious, not really sci-fi as the original tv series, but then again the tv show's dinosaurs were poorly made claymations! Overall I give this one a 3.5 out of 5, it was good but it wasn't fantastic and it didnt really blow my mind either.

Jurassic Park

A 1993 film based of the novel by Michael crichton, directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Sam Neill, Jeff Goldblum, Martin Ferrero, Bob Peck, Samuel Jackson and Wayne Knight. It was a great film that suceeds in its special effects, superb acting, and its amazing dinosaurs. All of the robotics and special effects done by Stan Winston really make all the dinosaurs seem real and life-like. The actors are amazing too, many of the dinosaurs in the movie were added later so they did a lot of there work pretending the dinosaurs were there! Why I like the movie is because I love dinosaurs and each one in the movie is looks and acts exactly how a paleontologist would describe them to you. Personally I thought the book was better however the movie was still great and recieves a 5 out of 5 from me.
